FAQ - HOW DO THEY WORK?

The way these machines work is very basic.

Our Air To Water Generators use a specially made food grade condenser to cool the air being processed to a very low temperature which helps turn water vapor (humidity) in the air into water droplets.

So, to make the water safe for drinking in our machines a physical electrostatic filter first filters the air to
remove any dust particles before it is passed over very cold plates (condenser) forcing the vapour into
droplets of water in the process. The water then passes through a 10-micron carbon filter, a 5-micron carbon
filter, then an RO filter, and finally then the re-injection of elements and minerals filter. The water is subject
to three medical-grade UV sterilisation lights in the process and water is circulated daily.

The “Remineralizing” of the water is adding in essential safe elements fit for your body to drink. We do NOT
add fluoride or chlorine, or any other nasty chemicals or additives. We just harvest clean, safe drinking water.
Today preferred is more Alkaline drinking water, and so we have added a system to bring all water
dispensed to a slightly alkaline level of 7.8-7.9 PH.

You can always order new filters easily & affordably, every 6-24 months, direct from us. The machine will
alert you by a red flashing light and tell you when. To set up the machine you don't require a technician - you
simply take the machine out of the box and plug it in, paying attention to the easy-to-read instruction manual
so you can learn more about how the machine works.

When plugged into solar panels they must use a 240-volt inverter to power on the compressor, and this will
provide virtually limitless, sustainable drinking water in most climates; - using batteries for nighttime
the operation makes water-making even more efficient due to the high Dewpoint overnight, which is what makes
grass feel wet - and the machines work even in the outback.

There are swimming pools of water above your head everywhere you go, and we would need trillions of
machines to make even a small dent into taking too much water from the atmosphere. - as the air travels
around the planet; plus we have these large evaporating ponds called "oceans" which make up a majority of
the surface of our planet, and we have dew, rain, mist, and fog, we have plants animals, and humans who
release water vapor from respiration and trans-evaporation. Most of the planet is water.

We have now arrived at a simple yet clever technological solution to harvest that water.

THE FILTRATION SYSTEMS - EXPLAINED

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Although reverse osmosis supplies useful, mineral-free water for printing purposes, it does not provide the healthiest drinking water. Reverse osmosis will remove several mineral and chemical materials from water, including salt, fluoride, lead, manganese, iron, and calcium. Reverse osmosis, because it removes minerals according to physical size, is non-selective in its removal of dangerous and beneficial minerals. Clearly, mineral contaminants like salt, fluoride, and lead should be removed from drinking water, but minerals like iron and manganese, because they are essential to natural body processes and important components of drinking water, should be left in that water. Iron builds and maintains healthy red blood cells while manganese helps in regulating protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism. Manganese, like calcium, is also an essential component in the building of bones and the clotting of blood. Though many foods contain these minerals, drinking water can and should be a major source for their intake.

DISTILLATION

Distillation removes chemicals similar to those removed by reverse osmosis, but in a different manner. Distillation, through its water evaporation process, will remove any chemicals or organic materials with higher boiling points than water. Such chemicals and organic materials with higher boiling points include bacteria, minerals, trace amounts of metals, many volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), and nitrate (Binnie et al, 2002). Clearly, distillation is valuable in its removal of the potentially deadly VOCs and nitrate. It strips the water of nearly all of its natural minerals, though. Many of the minerals the distillation process removes are vital to the body’s natural processes. The distillation process is not selective in its removal of minerals, and it strips the water of both dangerous and valuable mineral compounds. 

REMINERALISATION

Calcium and manganese are re-injected into our water after 10 Micron and then 5 Micron carbon filters and then the RO last before our re-mineralization filter. 
 

Condensing water particles from the air in our system will first pass through two air filters before the H2O particles are condensed on cold food-grade plates. These particles become water and are dripped onto a carbon mat in a drip tray; then drop through a silicon sandbag before getting to the initial storage tank armed with a UV light. 
 

Water is then passed into a 10 Micron filter, then a 5 Micron filter before reaching the RO. After the RO it passes into a re-Mineralization filter specifically to add back minerals and elements removed from the RO process. This water then passes to the top storage tank passing a UV light en-route. On arrival in the storage tank, it is greeted by another UV light.
 

Water is automatically recirculated daily past the UV lights to keep water bacteria free and fresh.
